I’ve lived many lives in my mere 31 years. Between experimenting with different types of religions, styles and um… men, I feel like I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge that I’m eager to share with my children.
As a woman, I feel like there are specific little tips and tidbits that I desperately need to teach my daughter before she’s all grown.
So Ari Jade, this is for you…
1.) Don't ever change who you are for a man. "Dumbing down" or faking intelligence for a guy can get super old and terribly exhausting very fast.
2.) Always remember: cleavage out?... cover your legs. Short skirt?... cover your cleavage. Don't give it all away. Leave something to the imagination.
3.) Smoking makes your breath stink... Not a good look.
4.) Drinking makes you lose things... like your underwear and inhibition... Not a good look either.
5.) Always let a man be a man. They like feeling needed even though they won't admit it.
6.) Your 20's are made to have fun and be single. Don't feel obligated to be tied down.
7.) Never let a man (or anyone else for that matter) tell you that you're not beautiful and amazing. If he does, tell him to go kick a brick.
8.) Find a man who loves, respects, and honors his mother. (That one's from your Dad.)
9.) The fact that a man opens doors or carries heavy bags does not make him perfect or "the one". Those features should come standard - like power windows on a car.
10.) Don't ever let a man convince you to prove your love by doing anything. If he doesn't think that you love him he's either insecure or... he's right.
Feel free to Stumble this or use this… And share it with your daughters. 🙂
