It’s amazing how kid’s innocent (and sometimes not so innocent) thoughts and actions can be so inadvertently hilarious. There have been television shows created and broadcasted for decades built entirely around the premise of funny things that kids say. Art Linkletter’s (and then Bill Cosby’s) hit series Kids Say the Darndest Things! is a true testament to the hilarity of children’s “wisdom” and witticisms.

To start your Friday off with a little humor (and in honor of the fast approaching new school year), I’ve scoured the internet and compiled some of the funniest elementary school photos, test answers, and compositions found around the web.

Some are unintentionally inappropriate – others are absolutely adorable – All of them will make you laugh out loud.

  • This was an actual school photo that was taken out in Alabama... Was he the smelly kid in class? Did he have mono? Who knows?
The hilarious part is that he seems A-OK with it.
  • Cheat much?
  • No clue what those squiggly lines were supposed to be, so I give this kid an "A++" for creativity.
  • What part of the country is that in? LMBO!
  • I could say so many things about this photo... but I won't.
  • I'm so hoping he meant "math".
  • Not sure why.
It seems that's when she's happiest.
  • I bet this kid's parents didn't see this coming when they let him name his dog.
  • #8 cracks me up every time.
  • Here's hoping that this kid doesn't know anything about that.
  • No kidding.
  • Kuddos to the teacher for this awesome assignment.
  • I can't believe that girl kept her sweater on!...
(Isn't that what you were thinking?)
  • Ha! Surrrre... We believe you.

The last one about the stripper pole is hilarious! I am glad I was not drinking anything because it would have been all over my computer screen!

I’m with you! I swear I crack up every time I read that last one. It makes me interested to see what unique ways my children are going to find to embarrass me when they get older. Lol
