For most kids, school is back in session. Summer break is over and it’s once again time for kids to stretch those brain muscles and increase that intellect. (We hope). All of that stretching and increasing will ultimately make for some hungry bellies.
Last year I did a really popular roundup of healthy after school snack recipes that included everything from frozen banana pops to tuna pizza; but what about the snacks you send your child off with during the day? Most of us just don’t have the time to create homemade healthy treats five days of the week; and I know I’m not the only one who feels a little guilty giving my kids snacks with high fat, fake sugars, and empty calories. Ew!
I’ve done all of the hard work for you and compiled a list of delicious snacks that are easy to pack for your child AND good for them too! With the same great taste of traditional flavored snacks, cookies, or chips, these delicious snacks are kid-friendly without artificial flavors and unhealthy ingredients.
