Here’s yet another tasty recipe brought to you by our friends at StarKist Tuna. This one is in honor of my favorite breath souring bulb – Garlic. Usually associated with bad breath, garlic has actually been considered a “cure-all” for centuries, said to treat a number of different ailments. From acne to high cholesterol, garlic has said to have antibiotic and blood cleansing properties.

Studies have also shown that eating garlic helps increase our hydrogen sulfide production, playing a part in reducing the risk of heart disease and various cancers, including prostate and colon cancer. Yay for garlic!

This bodacious bulb is so fantastic that someone had the ingenious idea of making April (the unofficial) National Garlic Month. So dive in to this fantastic Herb and Garlic Tuna Wrap recipe from StarKist and feel secure knowing that not only will you be receiving health benefits, but you’ll be honoring this sweetly pungent precocious little bulb as well.
