‘Labor Day by the Numbers’: An Awesome Infographic Chock Full of Labor Day Goodness

Happy Labor Day! It’s the unofficial end to yet another dope azz summer. Many will be taking advantage of the wonderfully long weekend by doing notoriously “un-laborious” things. Abundant amounts of swimming, barbecuing, and drinking will be taking place all across the country almost ceremoniously as a solute to the ending of the summer season.

The first Monday of September was originally meant to commemorate the achievements of American workers. If you ask me, I think we as Americans have captured the essence of the holiday beautifully.

The following is a wonderful collection of Labor Day facts in infographic format. You’ll be surprised and amused at some of the numbers.
