Stumble Saturdays – Hauntingly Realistic Celebrity Dolls by Noel Cruz

We’ve all seen how toy companies do awful jobs at making famous faces look realistic when turned into doll form. Well I “stumbled” across an insanely talented independent artist by the name of Noel Cruz who’s mastered the art of capturing the essence of notable celebrities. All he needs is a photograph, some paints, and a Barbie; and he can transform your not-so-recognizable celebrity doll into a true masterpiece.

Cruz uses standard oil and acrylic paints and teeny tiny brushes to create his doll doppelgangers. He then sells his creations on the popular online shop Ebay. He’ll gladly paint a doll for you in the likeness of whomever you choose – be it your dear granny or your darling little girl – you can have one of your own… at a hefty price. Cruz’s creations have sold for upwards of $600.
