Tyson Beckford Has A Nasty Case of the “Egos” and Nene Is Making the Most of Her 15 Minutes

I guess “narcissistic” and “egotistical” are actually true words that can be used to define some supermodels. Tyson Beckford recently shared his thoughts to London’s Evening Standard magazine on what he knows best: the fashion industry; but he took things a step further when discussing his gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend Ms. Shanina Shaik:

When I found her she was a regular girl. I helped place her with the right people, get her teeth cleaned, her body toned up. Everything changed and now everyone wants a piece of her. I hear people say, ‘You can do better than Tyson.’ I’m like, ‘Really? Really?! I created her!’

Ew. Check your ego much?

I mean, she is hot. Did you ever think Tyson that maybe she placed herself in the right places and hung around the right people (i.e. YOU) to get herself where she is? Hmmm.

He went on to discuss his experiences in the fashion industry:

As a supermodel I go with the other supers round the world: Dubai one day, Paris the next. There’s partying. I’ll wake up in a hotel room and there are people all over the floor and I’m like, “Is this really happening?” One time in Miami I woke up in the bathtub. I play second fiddle to [female supermodels], but that’s fine. Linda’s great, and Elle, Naomi — though I’ve seen her dark side. They all like to have fun.

Tyson, you are just sloppy – and although you look good… I mean really, really, good, your stank attitude has extinguished my fan flame for you.

If you’re a fan of “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, I’m sure that you’ve developed a love-hate relationship with resident loudmouth Ms. Nene Leakes. Her candor can sometimes be off-putting, but it’s an attribute you can’t help but to love.

Whether you love Ms. Nene or not, you’ll soon be seeing more of her outside of the Bravo franchise. Earlier in the season, Nene landed a recurring role on the hit NBC show “Glee” as rival cheerleading coach Roz Washington, but it hasn’t stopped there. Nene has teamed up with “Glee” creator Mr. Ryan Murphy for a new project on NBC called “The New Normal” – a comedy about a blended family in which the couple happens to be gay. Nene’s character, named Rocky, will be a heavily recurring role.

I’m excited for Ms. Nene and am glad that she’s extended her fifteen minutes of fame. Love her or hate her, you can’t knock her hustle.
