how to organize beauty products home diy

I know most women have good intentions when it comes to organizing their beauty essentials, but too often things just end up… wherever they end up (much to the chagrin of husbands and boyfriends I’m sure).

We Got Kidz is to the rescue with these 4 fantastically funky ways to organize your beauty closet. From unique jewelry organizers to fabulous makeup showcases, who knew there were so many awesome ways to get organized.

Cool Ways to Organize Beauty Products

Curling Iron Holsters

curling iron holster home diy Curling iron and flat iron cords can be so annoying. Here’s an awesome way to get them organized. Use velcro to attach 5-in. lengths of 2-in.- diameter PVC pipe to the inside of your cabinet door to hold the curling irons. Do the same thing with 3-in. pieces of 1-1/2-in.-diameter pipe to hold the cords. Just measure your curling irons to see how long your “holsters” need to be. Be sure to let your curling irons cool before you stash them away.

Cheese Grater Earring Holder

earring cheese grater home diy Super cute idea! Who’da thunk it?
What you’ll need: small cheese grater, paint, small metal hooks (used to hang pictures), four beads (the hooks should fit inside the bead holes), strong glue (like E-6000), tape
Instructions:
1. Paint the cheese grater a fun color.
2. Once dry, attach the four hooks, one to each corner of the bottom of the cheese grater using the strong glue. Place a piece of tape over the hook to hold it in place until the glue is dry.
3. Once the glue has dried, remove the tape, and put the bead on the curved part of the hook. This will protect the surface of your furniture.
4. Hang earrings from all the different holes in the cheese grater.

Coffee Bean Makeup Brush Holder

coffee bean makeup brush holder home diy Here’s a super simple yet amazingly clever solution to containing those unruly makeup brushes. Pour coffee beans into a small topless plexi container and place your brushes in brush side up. This also works with small decorative stones, uncooked beans, aquarium rocks… The sky is the limit. Be as creative with this as you dare.

Okay the coffee bean brush holder is genius…this way I can immediately see which brushes are not in there (needing to be cleaned) and how many are available at a glance…good idea! Though I’ll probably use marbles or something since I can’t stand the smell of coffee LOL

These were some good ideas right?! I did a take on the coffee bean holder too, but I used small river rocks instead. It’s set up in my bathroom right nice. lol.
