I listened to your records in the living room when I was a little girl. You made me want to “Dance With Somebody”… anybody. After a heartbreak, I wondered, just like you, “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”. In the way of music, you are truly my “Greatest Love of All”, and for that, you will be missed.

R&B singer and former Atlanta resident Whitney Houston has died at age 48.

Details of how she died have not been released. TMZ reports she was found unresponsive this afternoon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Our hearts go out to her family during this terrible time.

You’re time came too soon. I wish that you could have gotten the help that you needed. Hopefully now you’re at peace.

I appreciate your feelings on the matter. So many people express negativity when someone dies as a result of drugs. It's too bad that she had the struggles she did. But it's best to remember her for the great talent she shared. She truly was one of the best female voices of our generation.
